THE HISTORY OF ARBO WINDOWS
- 2014
Arbo Windows purchases the equipment of a company who has ceased its activity and begins the production of windows and doors. The window production plant and our own insulated glass unit production facilities become the most invaluable assets of Arbo Windows. Jānis Lasmanis takes the chair of the board of the new company.
- 2015
Arbo Windows reaches a turnover of 2.5 million and opens a representative office in Riga.
The company employs 63 people.
It is the only manufacturer of wooden windows and doors in Latvia exporting its products to Japan.
- 2016
Exports to Sweden are launched.
Arbo Windows obtains NDVK certification which certifies that our products comply with the Norwegian window and door control requirements.
- 2017
Turnover of EUR 4.2 million is achieved.
Largest projects in Latvia – Pastariņa Elementary School in Cēsis, Jelgava Gymnasium, Riga Waldorf School.
Export share 57%.
P-mark certificate obtained, certifying compliance of the windows and doors we produce with the requirements for the Swedish market.
Participation in the largest Nordic construction fair Bygg Reis Deg 2017 and the Timber Expo 2017 in UK. - 2018
The company's turnover reaches EUR 5 million.
Largest projects in Latvia – Riga 1st Hospital, French Lyceum, office building at 15 Audēju Street.
87% of the production volume is exported.
One of the company’s largest projects, Grand Poet by Semarah Hotels on Raiņa Boulevard, is completed. This project later received the Riga Architecture Award as an excellent example of renovation and transformation of historic buildings. Arbo Windows provided historic replicas of wooden windows for the project. - 2019
Turnover of EUR 5.2 million is achieved. The company employs 105 people. Export share ~ 80%. We plan to invest ~EUR 2 million in automation of our factory to enhance productivity.
- 2020
The year ended with a turnover of EUR 5.6 million. Installation of new equipment is completed. The plant starts up with 2 new Biesse CNC machines, new painting and impregnation lines are opened. Investments amount to a total of EUR 2.5 million. A new product is developed for export to Sweden.
- 2021
The factory and the production processes are recognized as appropriate for fire-resistant windows production. Achieved turnover of 7.4 million EUR. The biggest projects are in Sweden, in Stockholm region - Jylland and Stallet.
- 2022
Windows produced by Arbo Windows complies with fire protection classes EW60 and EI30. The production of fireproof windows has started. According to EN and ISO standards, we can issue an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for each manufactured product. The achieved turnover is 9.1 million EUR.
