Arbo Windows acquires Arlanga Wood
Arbo Windows, the leading wooden windows producer in Latvia, has acquired Arlanga Wood, the leading wooden windows producer in Lithuania, from its founder Arūnas Mažonis. The combined business will provide a wider range of high-quality wooden windows and doors to their clients in the Nordic countries and Western Europe.
The combined group generates more than 20 million euros in annual sales with a team of over 230 people across its two production sites – in Ventspils and Vilnius. The group’s largest markets are Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the UK and France.
Arlanga Wood will continue operating under the Arlanga Wood brand while Mr Mažonis will continue leading Arlanga alu and Arlanga PVC, each producing aluminum and PVC windows, respectively. Arbo Windows plans to continue its strong growth, including by looking for new acquisition opportunities with a good strategic fit.
Janis Lasmanis, CEO of Arbo Windows, comments on the strategic rationale of the transaction: “Arlanga Wood is one of the rare companies with a true reputation and internal culture focused on quality, and our first priority here at Arbo Windows has always been delivering quality and great service. We are proud to create the leading wooden windows producer in the Baltics but I am even more thankful to Arūnas, who has built a great company with a strong history and culture that matches what I believe in when serving my clients.”
